A Cherno Alpha Ground Crew (Michael Levin) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This costume was worn by Levin when portraying a member of the Russian Jaeger’s team. The costume includes many components customized for the production.

The jacket is a green weather proof material that features the Cherno Alpha logo on the front and back and Russian writing. A PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) patch is affixed to the right shoulder. A label inside the jacket marks it for Levin. A grey T-shirt (size small) and dark grey sweater (size extra large) are worn beneath. An extra grey T-shirt with a portion cut out of the collar is included and is labeled for “Michael Levin. The green cargo pants and black work boots (size 9) are labeled for different performers. Completing the costume is a work belt with canvas pouches and a PPDC ID card. All pieces feature light wear from production but remain in good condition.
