An Alaskan LOCCENT Lot from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. The LOCCCENT (Local Command Center) is the communication center in the Shatterdome. The LOCCENT crew can be seen throughout the film controlling the deployment of Jaegers and contacting their pilots. This lot contains an ID card with PPDC insignia set in a plastic clip-on holder, two metal PPDC lapel pins, and a non-functioning resin based earpiece with attached microphone. The pieces in this lot feature some minor wear, but remain in otherwise excellent condition. The ID badges measure 4” x 2” x 1” (10 cm x 6 cm x 2 cm).
