One Million Years B.C. features special effects by the legendary Ray Harryhausen, but the film is primarily remembered for Raquel Welch and that prehistoric bikini. The movie launched Welch's acting career and solidified her as the most prominent sex symbol of the decade. The producers obviously realised that she would be the selling point for audiences, which is why she features in many of these US Lobby Cards (offered here is a complete set of eight) as well as the poster campaign.
