Trevor Garfield's (Samuel L. Jackson) glasses from Kevin Reynolds' One Eight Seven. After surviving a stabbing by a student (Method Man) who wrote '187' — the California Penal Code section for murder — as a death threat across every page of his textbook in New York, Trevor wore his signature eyeglasses while teaching a new group of potentially dangerous students in Los Angeles. His eyeglasses represented the sharp disparity between his desire to truly educate and elucidate and the violent, hostile approach needed to control his classroom.
This pair of Serengeti Drivers eyeglasses originates from Planet Hollywood. They feature plastic frames inset with prescription lenses and matching temple tips, as well as metal temples and a matching nosebar. Also included is a leatherette-bound Serengeti glasses case. The glasses show evidence of wear consistent with on-set use, handling, and age.
