Leather Briefcase With Handcuff

This item is a briefcase used in the 2001 George Clooney ensemble heist film Ocean’s Eleven. Briefcases such as this one can be seen toward the end of the film as it is crucial to the success of Danny Ocean (Clooney) and his crew’s elaborate robbery. The Kenneth Cole briefcase is made of black leather and features a working combination lock on each the left and right sides. When the combinations are set to “000”, the briefcase can be opened to reveal a black felt interior which contains a black felt tray that can be easily removed from the briefcase. Additionally, there is 22” long black metal chain, with a single handcuff, also black metal, attached to the side of the briefcase. The handcuff does not require a key and can be easily worn and taken off. The briefcase measures approximately 11.5” x 14” (29cm x 36cm) and features some wear due to production use but remains in very good condition. The briefcase contains a different color interior (black) than what is shown when opened in the film (red), this particular briefcase would have been used for the numerous shots in the film of the case unopened.
