This lot will be auctioned on Friday, November 4th. A complete set of lyrics for every song on Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe, handwritten by Noel Gallagher. Released in August 1994, the album was an immediate success, and became the fastest-selling debut album up to that time.

The lot comprises 11 sheets of lined and unlined paper featuring the lyrics for every track on Definitely Maybe. The songs are: "Rock 'n' Roll Star", "Shakermaker", "Live Forever", "Up in the Sky", "Columbia", "Supersonic", "Bring It On Down", "Cigarettes & Alcohol", "Digsy's Dinner", "Slide Away" and "Married with Children". Seven songs are written in black ink, two in black marker, "Digsy's Dinner" in blue ink, and "Cigarettes & Alcohol" in pencil; this latter lyric sheet is also signed by Gallagher. The sheets display creasing, minor tears and signs of discolouration, most notably on the "Bring It On Down" lyrics. Dimensions (largest sheet): 29.5 cm x 21 cm (11 1/2" x 8 1/4"); (smallest sheet): 23 cm x 18 cm (9" x 7 1/4")
