A Baldwin Virginian guitar used and owned by Noel Gallagher during his time in iconic British band Oasis. This guitar was used in the studio for recording purposes, and was originally obtained from Gallagher's personal collection. It is rare and highly desired by collectors.
The electro-acoustic guitar comprises a scroll-shaped headstock, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, and a natural-finish mahogany laminate body. It features a clear plastic "Handcrafted by Baldwin" guard, a Rezo-Tube bridge and three control knobs. A plate on the back of the body displays the serial number "20053", and the back of the headstock is autographed by Gallagher in black ink.
The instrument comes with a rectangular original Baldwin hard case labelled "Baldwin Virginian Blonde Semi". Attached to the case handle is a paper "Bill Puplett Guitars" tag, which features handwritten text reading "Jason Rhodes (Ignition)". The metal components display some dulling, and there is a small area of damage to the body near the control knobs. There is also wear to the case exterior, including the outer leather trim, which has come away in some places. Dimensions (guitar): 110 cm x 42 cm x 9 cm (43.25" x 16.25" x 3.5"); (case): 117.5 cm x 49.5 cm x 14 cm (46.25" x 19.5" x 5.5")
