A collection of legal documents and a printed tweet in relation to a plagiarism case between Oasis and The Real People.

The lot comprises three stapled legal documents from Sony Music Publishing and a printout of a tweet by Liam Gallagher relevant to the case. The legal documents are dated between November 1997 and January 1998 and pertain to a case of plagiarism related to the tracks "Rockin' Chair", "Columbia", and "Don't Go Away", and The Real People's Chris Griffiths' part in co-writing these songs. Noel's signature features twice in the lot.

One of the documents includes earnings sheets for the tracks "Columbia" and "Rockin' Chair". Liam's printed tweet states that Chris Griffiths co-wrote "Rockin' Chair" with Noel. Dimensions (one sheet): 26.75 cm x 21.5 cm (10.5" x 8.5")

Some of the early Oasis songs they worked on with The Real People can be heard on the infamous "Live Demonstration" demo cassette that caught the ear of one Alan McGee, head of Creation Records.

The dispute between Gallagher and the Griffiths brothers is very well known and involves three important songs from Oasis' well-known catalogue.

In this lawsuit, the Griffiths brothers claimed:

- "Rockin' Chair" had lifted parts of The Real People song Growin' Old

- "Don't Go Away" had lifted parts of The Real People song Feel the Pain

- "Columbia" was written by Noel and Chris Griffiths in Liverpool studio, Bootle in 1993.
