A photo-matched leather jacket originally owned and worn by Noel Gallagher and later by Gem Archer during their time with Oasis. The jacket was custom-made by fashion designer Michelle Barnase, who produced several bespoke jackets for the Gallagher brothers as well as promotional clothing for the band. This garment was a staple item in Gallagher's wardrobe during the 1990s, with multiple documented appearances. It originates from Archer's personal collection, having been gifted to him by Gallagher in August 1999 when he joined Oasis. Clothing items worn by Gallagher rarely come to market.

The jacket is most prominent in several images from the band's 22 July 1995 photoshoot, taken on the day Oasis performed at Slane Castle when they supported R.E.M. Additional candid photographs from the same date also show Gallagher wearing the jacket, with distinctive creasing to the front that can be photo-matched to images from the Slane Castle session.

Photographs from this shoot later appeared across several official Oasis promotional materials, including the inner sleeve artwork for the vinyl edition of (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, the front cover of the Australian four-track CD single Morning Glory, and various promotional posters produced subsequently.

Other documented appearances of Gallagher wearing this style of leather jacket include clips from the Supersonic music video and a photograph by Tom Sheehan showing Gallagher alongside Andy Bell at Abbey Road Studios, when Bell's band Ride were recording their 1994 album Carnival of Light. The photograph was taken the day before Oasis' first London performance at The Water Rats on 27 January 1994.

Archer subsequently wore the jacket extensively, including a 2002 photoshoot by Pennie Smith used for the sleeve of Heathen Chemistry, in the video for The Hindu Times, and during live performances. He is also seen wearing the jacket in a photograph by Jill Furmanovsky reproduced as a double-page spread in her book Oasis: Trying to Find a Way Out of Nowhere (pp. 218-219). The jacket can also be photo-matched to an image of Archer attending the London premiere of Live Forever: The Rise and Fall of Britpop on 3 March 2003.

The leather jacket features metal tack buttons and multiple front pockets. It displays general creasing consistent with age, and there are small holes on the left chest pocket from badges Archer wore at the premiere. The lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Archer in black ink and dated "20/04/2022", detailing the jacket's history.

Also included are a print of the Tom Sheehan photograph signed by the photographer, a poster, and a copy of the Australian "Morning Glory" CD featuring imagery from the Slane Castle shoot. This is believed to be the only photo-matched Noel Gallagher jacket to come to market. Dimensions (poster): 62 cm x 93 cm (24.25" x 36.5")
