British Double Crown poster for A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) displays artwork by British artist Graham Humphreys; this is probably the artist's most famous work. The creepy atmospheric illustration is a perfect foil for the glaring day-glo title, which hints at the violence inherent in the film. Humphrey's design famously features on the UK Quad but was cleverly adapted to fit a portrait format (as shown in this example). The artwork features slight differences in the design's positioning and features Freddy's other hand reaching down the right side.
