A Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) Marionette Puppet Display from the 1987 sequel to the horror franchise, Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. In the film, a psychiatrist who was once haunted by Freddy teaches teenagers how to battle back in the nightmare world.
During Phillip’s (Bradley Gregg) nightmare sequence, Krueger appears in the body of a marionette puppet. This marionette is made from foam latex with a grey colored skin and has been dressed with a black sweatshirt and pants. Tied around each of Freddy's joints are thin cords indicating his use as a puppet.
This item comes beautifully presented on a custom made wooden display stand with the films title on the front. The title, which is backlit, can be illuminated by depressing a button on the back of the display. Including the display stand, this item measures approximately 9.5" x 20.5" x 9.5" (24cm x 52cm x 24cm) and features wear due to production use and age, which has caused the material to become hardened and exceptionally fragile. This piece remains in otherwise good condition.
