A "Leaper" stop-motion puppet and paperwork from the production of Clive Barker's 1990 dark-fantasy horror film Nightbreed.

The Leaper was one of the many creatures Lori (Anne Bobby) and Boone (Craig Sheffer) encountered while in the subterranean city of Midian. Lori witnessed the Leaper eating a small furry creature.

The puppet is made of foam latex and has faux-hair whiskers protruding from the sides of its face, as well as a machined-aluminium armature, complete with ball joints for moving and posing. The lot comes with 14 production storyboard sheets showing the scenes in which it was to be used, plus four A4 pencil concept drawings and two production copies of the creature, revealing its pre-production development. The paint is flaking in a few places, but it otherwise remains in very good condition. However, due to its fragile nature and age, the armature should remain static. Dimensions (model): 22 cm x 9 cm x 28 cm (8.75" x 3.5" x 11")
