The piece is mounted on an illustration board with a tag on the cover for Robert Walker Advertising called "Never Say Never, Strip-In Art." It is a large 20" X 24" black-and-white photo that has been masked and professionally airbrushed around the central images creating the lower starburst effect. The original artwork was by Rudy Obrero, which is a photographic reproduction. There is a transparent acetate overlay as well. A stamp on the lower image says," Caution: Retouched Art." This layout was presented to the studio before attorneys said Obrero must remove the action elements in the image, leaving only Bond and the girls.

This concept art was partially mounted to the artist's poster board and shows minor signs of wear to the edges, primarily on the right edge.

Sean Connery returned for one last adventure as James Bond in this knowingly titled non-Eon Productions adaptation of Ian Fleming's Thunderball. The film provided Kim Basinger with her breakthrough, in the role of Domino Petachi.
