Mickey Knox's (Woody Harrelson) and Mallory Knox's (Juliette Lewis) arrest warrant and love letters with production ephemera from Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers. Mickey Knox wrote love letters to Mallory after they were both arrested; the two previously encountered many rattlesnakes after meeting (and subsequently killing) a Navajo man named Warren Red Cloud (Russell Means); various police officers, prison staff, and a Drug Zone pharmacist Mickey shot wore name tags; and members of Wayne Gale's (Robert Downey Jr.) arrived in a van with an Illinois license plate and wore branded T-shirts which were bloodied during Mickey's violent escape and the riot it started.
This lot consists of six sheets of paper with Batongaville Penitentiary letterhead featuring excerpts of love letters handwritten in black ink; one two-page Cook County arrest warrant for Mickey and Mallory Knox; a brown and black rubber rattlesnake; 10 name tags with the names "Vasila," "Smith," "Homolka," "Nash," "Napalatoni," "Wrigley," "Stewart Deputy Warden," "Guzman Deputy Warden," "Wurlitzer Deputy Warden," and "Drug Zone Fakaofaofa [sic] Pharmacist;" one bloodied white T-Shirt with an "American Maniacs" logo featuring Wayne Gale's face; one bloodied cream-color pillow case "Botangaville Penitentiary" printed on it; seven rubber prison shivs; one white Illinois license plate with the number "JS 84GY" hand-marked "American Maniacs Van" in black ink on the back; one broken and bloodied silver-color Helbros wrist watch with gold-color embellishments; 12 folded newspapers from various outlets (USA Today, New York Post, Miami Telegraph, Gallup Daily News, Durango Post, Arizona Globe Gazette, Albuquerque Journal, and Salt Like Mariner) detailing the crimes of the Knoxes; one Esquire magazine with a photo of Mickey on the cover with the headline "The M&M Murders Generation X Comes of Age;" one TIME magazine with Mickey and Mallory pictured amongst other real-life killers with the headline "Date With Death Another Twisted Tale;" and 229 color-printed Polaroid pictures from the production, some of which have been hole-punched and feature hand-written numbers or labels. The paper elements exhibit some creasing and discoloration; the name tags exhibit scratching in the finish; and the wristwatch is missing its hands, the face is broken, and any current functionality remains untested.
