A gold chest from Jon Turteltaub's National Treasure. After searching below the grounds of Trinity Church, Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage), Patrick Gates (Jon Voight), Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger), and Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) discovered the treasure chamber created by the Knights Templar.

A massive success upon release, National Treasure held the No. 1 spot at the box office for three weekends before closing with a worldwide gross of $173 million. Since then, its central MacGuffin was immortalized in popular culture for its instantly identifiable line, "I'm going to steal the Declaration of Independence."

This lot consists of a painted resin molded box with a plastic insert to resemble a pile of coins and decorated with metal coins, chains, and pendants. The exterior features faux spider webs and production-added distress to make the chest appear ancient. This lot exhibits notable loss of adhesion on the coins with some of the coins falling off. Dimensions: 9.5" x 5.25" x 6.25" (24.25 cm x 13.5 cm x 16 cm)
