Myth: Did Ninjas have the ability to run across water? Result: Busted!

Reference: To test the myth in episode "Walk on Water" (2007, E78), Adam tried various special shoe designs, including mizu gumo, which were meant to increase his surface area on the water or increase his buoyancy. However, the shoes either failed to keep Adam afloat or were impossible to control as he tried to cross the body of water. Several items were featured in a 10-year touring MythBusters Exhibition that presented gadges, remenants of tests, and blueprints for attendees to see.

Inventory Description: This lot consists of two custom made wooden mizu gumo shoes. Items remain in good condition. Due to the nature of the show and the frequent use of the items, lots such as this one will show damage from production including but not limited to broken pieces, damaged surfaces and internal parts, and torn pages. Please review the full photograph sets to fully understand the condition of the lot.
