A limited edition fine art print showing the cover artwork for Muse's album "Butterflies and Hurricanes". The artwork was created by the late graphic designer Storm Thorgerson, known for collaborations with several bands, including Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.

The giclee print is from a limited edition of 20 and shows a vibrant blue sky featuring clouds shaped like butterflies passing over a field where two people are standing admiring the sky above. The print is presented on archival 310gsm cotton-based rag paper, is hand-numbered "8/20", and is signed by Thorgerson in pencil. It is also annotated "Butterflies x Hurricanes". Dimensions: 77.5 cm x 59.5 cm (30.5" x 23.5")

Additional provenance:

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998. Rockarchive now comprises an impressive collection of over 1000 images by more than 100 photographers and graphic designers, allowing fans and collectors to purchase limited-edition prints featuring music's most established artists. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Jill Furmanovsky.
