A "Spruce Springsteen" official Henson Muppet display from the Muppet Workshop. Muppet designer Ed Christie designed and created this parody muppet for the Night of 100 Trees charity event in 1988.

Originally part of a larger display sold at the charity benefit, this lot consists of an official Henson muppet displayed on a black wooden base with a black felt-covered pole. Tree-shaped and wearing a silver-color and sparkly blue necktie, this muppet is made of green faux fur lined with green polyblend fabric. It features foam and felt eyes, a felt mouth, and an interior hand-sewn hand-marked tag "Henson Assoc, Inc 1988 - All Rights Reserved" in black ink. A white ribbon tag signed by Jim Henson is attached to the back of the muppet. This lot exhibits a build up of grime, and mild matted fur. Dimensions: 16" x 12" x 25" (40.75 cm x 30.5 cm x 63.5 cm)
