A mummy priest mask from the production of Stephen Sommers’ 2001 fantasy adventure sequel The Mummy Returns.

The mummy Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) is resurrected again and he seeks to find the legendary Scorpion King (Dwayne Johnson), so it is up to Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) to stop him for good.

This mask and others like it were made for the production, specifically for the mummy priests that Imhotep resurrects just after his own resurrection who then fight Rick, Evelyn and the gang on a London bus. Made from the rubber, the mask has been hand painted and features sinew detail and decaying bandages. The head comes on a flock head for display.

The piece has some wear from age and production use. The rubber is no longer malleable and has flaked away in small areas, but overall the piece remains in an excellent condition.
