A makeup department sign from the production of Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam’s 1983 ensemble comedy, The Meaning of Life. This piece would have been placed in the make-up offices at Elstree Studios during the production, alerting the cast and the production team of their location. Made of wood, this sign features a printed graphic pasted onto the front that includes the film title and "Make-Up." The sign includes three drilled holes at the top from where it was mounted during production. This piece shows some wear due to production use and age, with scratches to the graphic, however it remains in fine used condition. Dimensions: 24" x 8" x1" (60 cm x 20 cm x 3 cm)
