A hand-drawn Terry Gilliam Zulu warrior sketch with seven hand-drawn James Acheson costume designs from Terry Jones' comedy movie Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. Gilliam's pencil drawing depicts the Zulu warrior who appears at the end of the "Tiger" sketch, before unzipping his skin to reveal an announcer, played by Gilliam. The seven costume design sketches are rendered in pencil on paper signed by Academy Award®-winning costume designer James Acheson. One, showing Gilliam as Bo Peep, is also coloured in pencil.

Each of the costume designs has the film's title and the name of the character and actor written in pencil. Some of the sketches feature additional notes on the materials and construction of the costumes. Five have a card backing, and the Gilliam sketch is adhered with tape to one of the other sketches. The designs have minor wear from use and age, including some smudges and discolouration. Dimensions (each): 42.5 cm x 30 cm (16¾" x 11¾")
