Sketch: The Death of Mary, Queen of Scots/Penguin on the Television

A penguin, TV and radio from the "The Death of Mary, Queen of Scots" and "Penguin on the Television" sketches, in which a couple of women (Terry Jones and John Cleese) listen to a radio play about the death of Mary, Queen of Scots, which mostly just features screaming. Their radio then explodes, forcing them to watch TV, only to discover a penguin standing on the television, which also explodes. This lot comprises a penguin, TV and radio. The penguin and radio are designed to blow apart into pieces.

This lot is from the Monty Python Live (mostly) - One Down Five to Go stage show, which ran at the O2 Arena, London for 10 sold out nights, from July 1st - 5th, and 15th - 20th 2014. It was the legendary comedy troupe's last live performance ever and billed as "The End of Monty Python". The final night was live-streamed on UKTV Gold and to cinemas around the world, then subsequently released on DVD and BluRay. Many of the items in the stage show were created as one-offs, and all lots are guaranteed to have been used during the show.
