Sketch: Christmas in Heaven

Samuel Holmes and Carol Cleveland's costumes and a pair of Santa costumes from the "Christmas in Heaven" sketch, in which a crooning lounge singer sings that it is Christmas in Heaven every single day. The lot comprises Samuel Holmes' sparkly suit, Carol Cleveland's red sparkly dress, and a pair of background dancer Santa costumes.

Inventory: Samuel Holmes costume: One jacket, one pair of trousers, one waistcoat, one bowtie, one pair of shoes. Carol Cleveland costume: One bodice, one pair of shoes, one headband, one pair of long gloves, one pair of underwear, one pair of earrings, one pair of bracelets. Santa costumes (each): One bodysuit, one Santa hat.

This lot is from the Monty Python Live (mostly) - One Down Five to Go stage show, which ran at the O2 Arena, London for 10 sold out nights, from July 1st - 5th, and 15th - 20th 2014. It was the legendary comedy troupe's last live performance ever and billed as "The End of Monty Python". The final night was live-streamed on UKTV Gold and to cinemas around the world, then subsequently released on DVD and BluRay. Many of the items in the stage show were created as one-offs, and all lots are guaranteed to have been used during the show.
