What makes Craig Nelson's artwork memorable on this poster for the long-lasting cult 80's hit The Monster Squad is how well it knows the genre. Front and center, in whole light and color, are the tiny tots looking to duke it out with creatures of the damned, while the background is littered with monsters of every kind lurking in the shadows. This one is given extra flair, having been autographed personally by director Fred Dekker.

This rolled one-sheet has no visible imperfections making it one of the cleanest examples we've ever seen. However, due to the signature in silver sharpie, technically, the poster has been "altered," so we can't give it a mint grade.

Directed by Fred Dekker, who co-wrote with Shane "Lethal Weapon" Black, this love letter to classic horror involves Count Dracula (Duncan Regehr) recruiting The Mummy, the Gill-man, The Wolf Man and Frankenstein's monster, in an effort to take over the world. And he might have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for that gang of pesky kids.
