A costume worn during the production of the 1996 action film Mission: Impossible. The only survivor of a compromised special operations unit, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) must steal a top secret list of agency operatives from within the CIA’s Langley headquarters in a bid to clear his name and become reinstated within the IMF.
This style of costume was worn by Ethan Hunt during the climactic train-top action sequence as Hunt comes within a hair’s breadth of being killed by rogue agents, a train tunnel and a crashed helicopter! The costume is composed of a pale blue “Dometakis” shirt marked “5” and “1B” and a pair of grey pinstripe “Alan Seltzer” trousers marked “5” and “Tom Cruise 32L” within. Both the trousers and the shirt have been distressed for use, with plenty of tears, fake dirt and scorching applied to both garments. Original costumiers labels are also enclosed.

Distressed for use, the costume remains in excellent production-used condition.
