A tranquilizer dot used in the production of J.J. Abrams' high action sequel Mission Impossible III.

IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) must call on his extensive background in espionage to keep arms-dealer Owen Davian (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) from acquiring a mysterious super weapon while also rescuing his wife Julia (Michelle Monaghan).

Julia was subdued in the hospital scene with a tranquilizer dot like this â€“ Davian sent his henchman (Michael Berry Jr.) to kidnap her as leverage against Hunt. The kidnapper, posing as a hospital worker, placed one of the dots on her arm, releasing a tranquilizing drug that immediately incapacitated her.

The small dot is made of clear plastic with a flat circular base and domed top layer, which is filled with a crushed yellow substance that simulated the knockout drug. It shows signs of wear from use during production, but remains in good overall condition.
