A pair of stunt boots from Tim Burton’s adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. These boots were worn by Emma Bloom (Ella Purnell), a girl with the peculiar ability of weightlessness. The boots were intended to keep her feet on the ground, specially weighted to allow her to walk like her fellow Peculiars.
Constructed around a pair of black leather boots, they feature metal clip fastenings along the front with hard rubber “weighted” soles running from the toe cap to the heel. Ornate floral detailing runs across the soles with metal floral detailing attached to the buckles, with padding along the inside for the comfort of the wearer. Rubber grip pads are attached along the bottom to ensure a good grip during wear. The soles of the boots are finished in a dry-brushed metallic finish to give it the look of worked iron with brass paint used to pick out the boots’ rivets. Labels within the boots are marked “Stunts 1”.

Displaying some minor wear to the soles and buckles from use, the boots remain in overall very good condition.
