An animatronic creature head from Guillermo del Toro’s 1997 science fiction horror film Mimic. This animatronic head is made from fiberglass that covers internal electronics. The fiberglass is painted with insect-like tones. The head is attached to metal pieces at are attached to a square metal base. Inside the head electronics are present though they have not been tested for functionality. A mouth piece is detached but included with the animatronic head. Showing some signs of use and age, this piece remains in overall good condition.
