An animatronic baby cockroach from Jean de Segonzac’s 2001 science fiction horror sequel Mimic 2. Entomologist Remy Panos (Alix Koromzay) and Detective Klaski (Bruno Campos) joined forces to hunt a murderous cockroach that was capable of taking the shape of a human. During one sequence, genetically modified baby cockroaches emerged from a suitcase that Lincoln Trahm (Bill Cho Lee) had previously stolen and tried to sell on the black market.

This animatronic cockroach features a foam latex abdomen and head with compound eyes. It has six resin legs, being two forelegs, two middle legs and two hind legs. Each leg exhibits dactyls and multiple joints. The cockroach is hand-painted orange and black and constructed around a mechanical armature with cables and wires designed to articulate the legs.

The lot exhibits slight wear but remains in good condition.
