The Black Ranger's stunt power ax from Haim Saban and Shuki Levy's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. After Zordon (David J. Fielding) chose him to be the Black Ranger, Zachary "Zack" Taylor (Walter Jones) wielded his power ax as his signature weapon throughout Season 1, including when he put it in blaster mode to connect it to the Rangers' Power Blaster. Later, Adam Park (Johnny Yong Bosch) took up the power ax when he became the next Black Ranger.
This stunt ax is constructed from foam rubber molded around a hard interior for structure, applied with Mastodon Power Coin decals on both sides, and affixed at bottom with a cannon component painted to appear metallic for when the axe is in blaster mode. Also included is a loose metal and plastic holster with a waistclip. The ax exhibits peeling around its edges and striped decals around its body and head, while the holster clip is dented from production use and age.
