A lot of three original character designs drawn by concept artist Carlos Huante for Ron Underwood?s family adventure Mighty Joe Young. This lot includes one painted illustration of Joe and a human character and two pencil drawings that each depict Joe?s face. The painted illustration is done in watercolor and is detailed with pastels. The pencil illustrations are both drawn in black and white on vellum paper. Both feature the signature of Carlos Huante and one contains a handwritten label that reads "Mighty Joe Young." The pages show minor wear due to production use and storage, but remain in overall good condition.
