A framed display containing the lyrics for the Grammy award-winning song "Beat It", handwritten and signed by Michael Jackson. Released in February 1983, "Beat It" appeared on Jackson's lauded LP Thriller, and he wrote it after producer Quincy Jones suggested the album should include a rock song. It is one of Jackson's most celebrated songs, firmly establishing him as a worldwide pop-culture icon.

The lyrics are written in black pen on two plain pages, with the song title underlined at the top. The words "Written and composed by" appear in the top right corner, along with Jackson's signature. The lyrics are presented in a large display alongside a colour-printed image of Jackson in his red leather "Beat It" jacket. The photograph is autographed by the singer in blue ink. The display's frame exhibits minor paint wear. Dimensions (each page): 35.5 cm x 21.75 cm (14" x 8.5"); (display): 69.5 cm x 92.5 cm x 9 cm (27.25" x 3" x 3.5")
