Hand-drawn Ralph McQuarrie Michael Jackson commercial storyboard sets from Pepsi's "The Chase" commercial. Following a concert, Michael Jackson ran through the city streets, museum paintings, and the snow slopes to avoid being caught by fans and reporters before he found himself at another concert performance.

Created by renowned artist Ralph McQuarrie, this lot consists of three pages of printed handwritten notes; 26 pages of printed thumbnail sketch storyboards; 52 pages of printed storyboards; 18 pages of early design storyboards; and 38 pages of hand-drawn storyboards with hand-drawn cut outs adhered to the pages and printed handwritten annotations on the margins. These storyboards come in a Pytka envelope with a handwritten address to McQuarrie and marked "PEPSI THE CHASE." This lot exhibits discolouration, folded edges, and tape residue. Dimensions: (largest) 21.75 cm x 35.75 cm x 2.75 cm (8.5" x 14" x 1")
