A multi-platinum disc award presented to Michael Jackson to commemorate more than 4,000,000 UK sales of his acclaimed 1987 album Bad. Jackson's seventh studio album marked a new era, showcasing a heavier, more aggressive sound and a striking visual reinvention. Bad remains one of the best-selling albums of all time and continues to be celebrated for its enduring influence on artists worldwide.

Housed in a custom metal frame and mounted behind acrylic, the display features thirteen platinum-coloured discs, a large image of the album cover on the left, a smaller version of the artwork on the right, and a plaque detailing the recipient. A hanging wire is fitted to the reverse of the frame. The acrylic and frame exhibit scratching, with edge wear visible on the front disc. The lot is accompanied by a a printed copy of a handwritten letter from a Sony BMG employee, stating that the original owner had permission to remove two framed discs (including this example) from Soho Square, along with other music-related items that were no longer required.
