A multi-platinum disc award presented to Michael Jackson to commemorate more than 1,800,000 UK sales of his acclaimed album Off the Wall. Released in August 1979, Off the Wall is considered Jackson's breakthrough album, featuring number one hits "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and "Rock with You".

Housed in a custom metal frame and mounted behind acrylic, the display features six platinum-coloured discs, a large image of the album cover on the left, a smaller version of the artwork on the right, and a plaque detailing the recipient. The frame exhibits minor scratching, and the larger album artwork image has lifted slightly within the display. The lot is accompanied by a handwritten letter from a Sony BMG employee, stating that the original owner had permission to remove two framed discs (including this example) from Soho Square, along with other music-related items that were no longer required. Dimensions: 46.25 cm x 122.5 cm x 3.5 cm (18.25" x 48.25" x 1.25")
