A platinum disc award display presented to Michael Jackson to commemorate more than 1,000,000 sales of his for his seventh studio album, Bad which remains one of the best-selling records of all time. It is believed that Jackson later gifted this award to Teddy Lakis, who worked for Mama Concert Productions, the company responsible for promoting both the Dangerous and HIStory world tours.

The award is presented in a large black frame, mounted behind acrylic. The display features a large image of the album cover artwork as the background, a platinum-coloured disc, a matching cassette, a holographic RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) certified sales award logo, and a presentation plaque naming the recipient. The frame displays light wear. Dimensions: 97 cm x 96 cm x 3.5 cm (38" x 37.75" x 1.25")
