British Vintage B&W Silver-Gelatin Double-Weight Glossy Photographs (3). This group of three rare photographs was printed for the film's original 1927 British theatrical release by Wardour Films. It includes two British double-weight glossy photographs, each measuring 7.75 inches by 9.5 inches. One photo depicts the character False Maria (Brigitte Helm) being burned at the stake by a frenzied mob, while the other features the handsome young Freder Fredersen (Gustav Frohlich) and a beautiful young woman in the Pleasure Garden. These photographs may show pinholes, border chips, image scratches, a horizontal crease along the bottom border, and surface blemishes resulting from the printing process. The third photograph is from the Tower of Babel sequence. Measuring 8 inches by 10 inches, it has a beautiful matte finish and shows pinholes, light border wear, and slight signs of silvering around the edges.
