Three storyboard binders from Lana and Lilly Wachowski's The Matrix. They were used by the film's art director, Hugh Bateup.

This lot consists of one black vinyl Bantex binder labeled "Hugh Storyboard #1" with 226 printed storyboard pages with handwritten annotations and colored tabs; one black vinyl Bantex binder labeled "Hugh Storyboard #2" with 237 printed storyboards and color printed concept designs; and one white vinyl miniature binder labeled "The Matrix Art Department Story Boards" along the cover and spine with "Hugh Bateup" faded on the cover featuring 235 printed pages of printed storyboards and concept designs with colored vinyl dividers. This lot exhibits grime to the binders' exteriors and minor sticking pages in the white and "#2" binders. Dimensions: (largest) 11" x 12" x 3" (28 cm x 30.5 cm x 7.75 cm)
