A costume design sketch for Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) hand-drawn by Emmy Award®-winning costume illustrator Lois DeArmond and annotated by costume designer Kym Barrett during pre-production on the Wachowskis' The Matrix. In the film, Trinity switched from the fantastical leather costumes she wore inside the Matrix to more realistically combat-appropriate civilian wear when she returned to the Nebuchadnezzar.

This sketch, depicting Trinity with an overshirt and pants, is rendered, labeled "Trinity," dated "97," and signed by DeArmond in graphite on drawing paper. It features annotations from Barrett, including "Lining with dark blue or black" and "Style more combat? For Neb?" The sketch is stapled in the corners and exhibits yellowing and minor warping from handling and age. Dimensions: 14" x 17" (35.75 cm x 43.25 cm)
