A posed sentinel VFX reference model miniature on display from the production of the Wachowskis' sci-fi action sequel The Matrix Revolutions. Hordes of sentinels took heavy fire from APUs and an EMP when they besieged Zion.

This lot comes from the collection of The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions production manager L. Dean Jones, Jr. This ornately detailed squid-like model is one of a select few created by the Miniature Unit as an effects reference for the siege sequence. It features a cast resin head and body painted metallic gray with dull red eyes, front claws, and plated tentacles with clamped claws. The sentinel comes mounted via a metal rod to a custom display base textured and painted to resemble a large metal machine gear. It exhibits some yellow discoloration and grime from production, minor fractures to the resin, and flaking to the base from production use and handling. Dimensions: 20" x 20" x 15" (51 cm x 51 cm x 38.25 cm)
