A The Mask of Loki crew gift from the production of Chuck Russell's The Mask. Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) discovered the Mask of Loki, the Norse god of mischief, that transformed him into his cartoonishly powerful and mischievous alter ego, the Mask.

The Mask was a critical and commercial success, and was nominated for the Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects. At the time, it was considered the most profitable movie ever adapted from a comic book series.

This ornately detailed resin mask originates from the collection of four-time Academy Award®-winning makeup artist Greg Cannom, who received it as a crew gift following production from Christopher Gilman, who created the production masks with his effects company Global Effects. Cast from the original production mask molds, the mask is painted dark green, textured to resemble aged wood, and inset with gray vertical strips bolted along the center to appear metallic. This mask features a circular indent at the top of the bridge where the "L" medallion was placed as well as indentations on the interior from previous mounting to a display. It additionally exhibits chipped resin and paint. Dimensions: 6.5" x 9" x 4" (16.5 cm x 23 cm x 10.25)
