A mask of Loki from Charles Russell's The Mask. Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) recovered the Mask of Loki, the Norse god of mischief, which transformed Ipkiss into his cartoonishly powerful and mischievous alter ego, the Mask. The Mask was a critical and commercial success, and was nominated for the Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects. At the time, it was considered the most profitable movie based on a comic series published by Dark Horse Comics.

Designed by Global Effects, this resin mask is painted dark green and textured to resemble aged wood. It features a gray vertical strip with bolts along the center simulating a studded metal nose. This mask has a circular indent at the top of the bridge with an "L" shaped design inside. This lot exhibits chipped paint along the edges and exposed resin. Dimensions: 6.5" x 8.5" x 4" (16.5 cm x 21.5 cm x 10.25 cm)
