Tales of Suspense no. 40 features the second appearance of Iron Man in New Armor, while no. 45 features the first appearances of Happy Hogan and Pepper Potts; no. 48 features new Iron Man armor penciled by Steve Ditko; no. 49 features an early X-Men crossover penciled by Ditko; no. 50 features the first appearance of the Mandarin; no. 52 features the first appearance of Black Widow; no. 57 features the first appearance of Hawkeye; no. 58 is the first issue to feature "Captain America" in the title; no. 59 represents the beginning of the Captain America solo stories; no. 63 features a re-telling of Captain America's origin story; no. 65 and 66 feature the first Silver Age-era appearances of the Red Skull; and no. 94 features the first appearance M.O.D.O.K.
