Vincent Kapoor (Chiwetel Ejiofor) NASA ID from Ridley Scott’s 2015 adaptation of Andy Weir’s sci-fi novel The Martian.

An astronaut, Mark Watney (Matt Damon), is left stranded on Mars after his team assume he is dead. He must use all of his scientific knowledge and ingenuity to survive until NASA can figure out a way of getting him home.

Although not obviously seen on screen this ID belongs to Vincent Kapoor, NASA’s Director of Mars Missions. The ID features a picture of Kapoor next to the NASA logo and features his name and other details. The ID is in a plastic cover and attached to a Jet Propulsion Laboratory lanyard.

The piece has some minor wear from production use including scuffs and scratches, but remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
