An EVA helmet valve from Ridley Scott’s 2015 sci-fi survival film The Martian.

Mark Watney (Matt Damon), Melissa Lewis (Jessica Chastain) and the rest of the team all wear their EVA spacesuits at various points in the film. This valve and others like it were made to be fitted at the sides of their white EVA helmets, and one can be seen on the side of the helmet Watney wears in the Aries IV MAV. It is made from resin and painted white with a red metal ring slotted into a groove at the top.

The valve exhibits little wear from production use and remains in excellent condition.
