This advance one sheet for director Tim Burton's sci-fi dark comedy is signed by Burton himself and was printed double-sided. It is rolled and displays only light, sporadic creases around the edges.

The filmmakers were initially uncertain about how the Martians should sound, so the script had them speak in a series of "Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack!" for all their dialogue. This vocalization eventually became the official language of the Martians in all subsequent "Mars Attacks!" media and merchandise. To achieve a sleek, seamless look, the Martian Girl costume was designed without zippers or buttons. Each day, Lisa Marie had to be carefully sewn into the outfit before filming her scenes could start.
