A frog from Paul Thomas Anderson's Magnolia. In the biblical finale, frogs rained from the skies above California's San Fernando Valley.

Production considered a variety of methods for filming the sequence, one of which required special effects group F/X Concepts, Inc. to manufacture hundreds of frogs that would fall from elevated conveyor belts or jump off trampolines. Ultimately, the frogs were generated digitally, while the impacts of their falls were completed practically.

This detailed silicone frog is molded around an internal metal structure and painted green. It exhibits sandy residue and grime, and its legs are peeling from age, rendering it fragile. Dimensions: 11" x 7" x 2" (28 cm x 18 cm x 5 cm)
