An artist proof silver gelatin photographic print featuring an image of Madonna taken by photographer Peter Cunningham on Thompson Street, New York, in October 1982. It was taken around the time Madonna released her debut single "Everybody". This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.

This artist proof silver gelatin darkroom print shows a shot of Madonna leaning up against a wall covered in graffiti. It is printed on fibre based paper, hand-numbered "A/P 1," and signed by Cunningham in black ink. Dimensions: 50.5 cm x 40.5 cm (19.75" x 16")

Additional provenance:

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998. Rockarchive now comprises an impressive collection of over 1000 images by more than 100 photographers and graphic designers, allowing fans and collectors to purchase limited-edition prints featuring music's most established artists. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Jill Furmanovsky.
