This lot will be auctioned on Thursday, June 23rd. An invitation to the opening of Lucasfilm's "Egg Company" offices and a moving card sent to Lucasfilm employees. In 1979, Lucasfilm moved its offices into an egg shipment warehouse on Lankershim Boulevard in Los Angeles, formerly owned by "The Egg Company." The name was retained in order to preserve the company's privacy.

This lot consists of one invitation to the new office's holiday party featuring a printed illustration of C-3PO and R2-D2 and one letter notifying Lucasfilm staff about the move featuring a Ralph McQuarrie illustration of Star Wars characters on Lankershim printed on Black Falcon cardstock. Both exhibit fold lines and staining along the edges. Dimensions: 14" x 11" (35.75 cm x 28 cm)
