A set of #1 Deluxe Limited Edition copies of the Howard Kazanjian: A Producer's Life books. Kazanjian's long and celebrated film career began with projects such as Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch, where he was second assistant director, and Alfred Hitchcock's Family Plot, where he served as first assistant director. As an originating member of Lucasfilm and the company's vice president from 1977 to 1984, Kazanjian produced a number of the company's most famous and culturally impactful films, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.

Kazanjian first published his expansive memoir, A Producer's Life, in 2021, with Star Wars historian J.W. Rinzler assisting in compiling and editing the book. Kazanjian is now releasing six different Deluxe Limited Edition versions of the memoir, each including a fabric-wrapped, gold-color-embossed clamshell casing with a signed bookplate and additional artifacts from Kazanjian's film career. This lot includes print #1 of each edition. This is the only way to obtain the #1 set; only subsequent numbers in the set will be available for retail sale.

The Wild Bunch Edition, #1 of an edition of 35, includes an original film-used ammunition casing from a bandolier. The Hitchcock Edition, #1 from an edition of 25, includes a page of hand-drawn storyboards from Family Plot, along with an original production-used page from one of Kazanjian's scripts for the film. The Marcia Lucas Signature Edition, #1 of an edition of 125, includes a bookplate signed by Marcia Lucas (in addition to Kazanjian), and an unpublished photo of Marcia Lucas with Howard and Carol Kazanjian. The Raiders Edition, #1 of an edition of 25, includes a production-used Raiders of the Lost Ark printed storyboard page. The Return of the Jedi Edition I, #1 of an edition of 50, includes a production-used Return of the Jedi printed storyboard page and a clipping from a 70mm film print. The Return of the Jedi Edition II, #1 of an edition of 40, includes a production-used Polaroid of a creature maquette from Kazanjian's Jedi designs bible and a clipping from a 70mm film print.
